Peplink 802.3af/at PoE Injector - ACW-107
Description
Power and Data Through One Cable
The ACW-107 connects between an unpowered Ethernet port and a compatible PoE device. It adds electrical power to the Ethernet connection, allowing one network cable to carry both data and power to the installed equipment.
IEEE 802.3af/at Support
The injector supports IEEE 802.3af PoE and 802.3at PoE+, with output of up to 30 watts. This makes it suitable for compatible access points and networking equipment that require standard negotiated PoE rather than a manufacturer-specific passive power connection.
Flexible Equipment Placement
Using PoE can simplify installation in locations where separate AC wiring would be inconvenient. The ACW-107 is practical for ceiling-mounted access points, equipment rooms, remote offices, kiosks, and protected outdoor network installations where the connected device is placed away from an electrical outlet.
AC-Powered Installation
The injector accepts 100–240V AC input, allowing it to operate with common electrical systems. Regional versions are supplied for different outlet types, including the ACW-107-US and ACW-107-UK.
Compatibility Considerations
The connected equipment must support IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at power input and remain within the injector’s 30-watt output capacity. Devices requiring higher-power 802.3bt or proprietary passive PoE may need a different power source.
