2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Coverage
The ACW-202 operates across the 2.4 to 2.5 GHz frequency range. It is intended for Wi-Fi equipment using the 2.4 GHz band and does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi, cellular, or GPS frequencies.
Omnidirectional Signal Pattern
The antenna provides 360-degree horizontal coverage, allowing a compatible access point to serve devices positioned around the installation rather than in one specific direction. Its 8 dBi gain concentrates more of the signal toward the horizon, making it best suited to broad outdoor areas.
Outdoor Fiberglass Construction
A fiberglass enclosure protects the antenna elements during permanent outdoor use. The antenna supports operating temperatures from -40°C to 80°C / -40°F to 176°F, allowing installation in a wide range of climates.
Direct N-Type Connection
The antenna terminates in an N-male connector and can attach directly to compatible outdoor Peplink equipment with an N-female Wi-Fi antenna port. An appropriate antenna cable or adapter is required when the device uses a different connector.
Installation Considerations
For the best practical coverage, the antenna should be mounted vertically and positioned above nearby obstructions where possible. Because it is a higher-gain antenna with a relatively narrow vertical pattern, it is generally better suited to covering devices at similar elevations than locations directly above or below the antenna.
