Recommended for 50 to 500 users, it supports business offices, media production teams, and IT environments that need to keep demanding applications running smoothly.
Fast and Flexible WAN Connectivity
Two 2.5G Ethernet WAN ports support high-speed internet connections, with routing throughput of up to 4Gbps. The second WAN port can be configured as a LAN port through the web administration interface, allowing the router to adapt to different network layouts.
Reliable Connections with SpeedFusion
SpeedFusion Bandwidth Bonding, Hot Failover, and Smoothing help maintain reliable connectivity across multiple WAN connections. With up to 1Gbps SpeedFusion VPN throughput, including with 256-bit AES encryption, the Balance 310 supports secure, high-bandwidth communication between locations.
10G LAN Performance for Demanding Workloads
Four 10G Multi-Gig Ethernet LAN ports provide fast local connections for workstations, servers, and NAS devices. They support large project file transfers, RAW media workflows, and high-definition audio and video streams, while remaining backward compatible with 5G, 2.5G, Gigabit, and Fast Ethernet connections.
Expand Your Network with External 5G and Starlink
Connect compatible external 5G equipment through the configurable WAN/LAN port, which provides 802.3at PoE+ output with a 30W power budget. Add Starlink as an Ethernet WAN connection to create a flexible network with configurable WAN priorities and failover. PoE output requires a DC input voltage of 50V to 56V.
Quiet Design and Flexible Power Options
The fanless enclosure delivers quiet operation for offices, studios, and other noise-sensitive environments. The router accepts 12V to 56V DC through its 4-pin Micro-Fit connector and includes GPIO and ignition sensing for flexible installations, including suitable vehicle and RV deployments. A 54V power supply is included.
Centralized Management and Advanced Network Features
Manage the Balance 310 remotely through Peplink's InControl 2 cloud platform. Support for High Availability, Drop-In Mode, content filtering, remote user access, and AP and switch control helps simplify network administration. Docker support with 8GB of internal storage also enables edge computing applications.
