The Peplink Balance 310 5G combines integrated cellular connectivity, high-speed wired networking, Wi-Fi 7, and PoE+ power in a single compact enclosure. Recommended for 50 to 500 users, it provides a versatile networking platform for enterprise branches, retail locations, industrial installations, and mobile deployments.

Integrated 5G with Flexible SIM Options

A built-in global 5G modem supports standalone and non-standalone Sub-6GHz networks, with LTE Cat-20 connectivity also available. Redundant Nano-SIM slots, Peplink eSIM, bring-your-own eSIM support for two profiles, and remote SIM options provide flexibility when selecting and managing cellular services. The modem supports theoretical maximum 5G speeds of 4.1Gbps downlink and 900Mbps uplink, with actual performance depending on network conditions and carrier service.

High-Speed Ethernet and Fiber Connectivity

With up to 4Gbps routing throughput, a 10G Multi-Gig Ethernet WAN port, and a 10G SFP+ port, the Balance 310 5G supports demanding business applications and high-speed internet services. The SFP+ port can be configured for WAN or LAN use through the web administration interface. Two USB-C WAN interfaces provide additional connectivity options, including expansion with compatible cellular devices.

Resilient Networking with SpeedFusion

Combine multiple internet connections using SpeedFusion Bandwidth Bonding, Hot Failover, and Smoothing to improve connection resilience and application performance. The router delivers up to 1Gbps SpeedFusion VPN throughput with or without 256-bit AES encryption, supporting secure communication across locations and continuity when individual WAN connections fail or degrade.

Eight 2.5G LAN Ports with PoE+ Power

Connect and power access points, IP cameras, IP phones, and other compatible devices through eight 2.5G Ethernet LAN ports with 802.3at PoE+ output. A total PoE power budget of 240W helps simplify branch installations and reduce the need for separate power supplies. PoE output requires a DC input voltage of 50V to 54V.

Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7

Built-in Wi-Fi 7 with 2x2 MIMO supports simultaneous 2.4GHz and 5GHz operation. Configure wireless connectivity for access point use, Wi-Fi WAN, or both, allowing the router to serve local wireless devices and connect to available upstream Wi-Fi networks.

Rugged Design for Fixed and Mobile Deployments

A fanless chassis and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 65°C make the Balance 310 5G suitable for demanding environments. Dual 54V DC power connectors support power redundancy, while a terminal block accepts 12V to 54V DC input. Built-in GPS adds location capability for mobile installations.

Built-In Edge Computing

Native Docker support and 8GB of internal storage allow compatible monitoring agents, security services, and network automation tools to run directly on the router. External storage is supported through USB, providing additional flexibility for edge applications and helping reduce reliance on separate on-site computers.
