Peplink BR2 Micro - Compact Dual-Cellular LTE Router

The Peplink BR2 Micro combines two embedded cellular modems, built-in routing, and SpeedFusion technology in a compact, rugged enclosure. Designed for installations where space is limited, it delivers flexible connectivity for remote equipment, mobile deployments, and small networks. With up to 300Mbps routing throughput, it is recommended for 1 to 60 users.

Dual LTE Modems for Reliable Connectivity

Two embedded cellular modems enable the BR2 Micro to maintain multiple cellular connections for greater network resilience. Available configurations include dual CAT-4, dual CAT-7, and dual CAT-12 modems. Depending on the selected version, theoretical maximum downlink and uplink speeds per modem are 150Mbps/50Mbps, 300Mbps/150Mbps, or 600Mbps/150Mbps respectively. Actual speeds depend on carrier service and network conditions.

Connection Resilience with SpeedFusion

SpeedFusion Hot Failover, Smoothing, and Bandwidth Bonding help maintain connectivity when individual links fail or network conditions change. The BR2 Micro supports SpeedFusion VPN throughput of up to 80Mbps without encryption and 60Mbps with 256-bit AES encryption. SpeedFusion features require a PrimeCare subscription, which is complimentary for the first year.

Flexible Ethernet and USB-C Connections

A Gigabit Ethernet port can be configured as WAN or LAN through the web administration interface, allowing the router to adapt to different network setups. A separate USB-C LAN interface provides virtual Ethernet connectivity to compatible connected devices using the AX88179 chipset. Appropriate drivers are required for USB-C LAN operation.

Versatile SIM Support and Remote Management

Support for Nano-SIM, Peplink eSIM, and bring-your-own eSIM with two profiles per modem provides flexibility when deploying and managing cellular services. RemoteSIM from SIM Injector and FusionSIM offer additional SIM management options. Built-in eSIM enables zero-touch provisioning, while Peplink InControl and InTouch support remote configuration and management.

Small Footprint, Rugged Construction

Measuring just 76 x 83 x 43mm and weighing 350g, the BR2 Micro fits easily into space-constrained installations. Its fanless metal enclosure and operating temperature range of -40°C to 65°C make it suitable for demanding fixed and mobile environments. Mounting brackets are included to help secure the router in place.

Low Power Consumption and Flexible Power Options

With nominal power consumption of 8W and a maximum of 13W, the BR2 Micro is well suited to installations with limited power capacity. It accepts 10V to 30V DC through its power port or 9V DC through USB-C. The package includes a 12V power supply, a screw-locking USB-C cable, and a USB-C to USB-A adapter.
