Description
Multi-Orbit Network Management
The MAX Orbit 2 provides a single routing platform for multiple satellite connections. Starlink, OneWeb, Iridium, and other supported WAN links can be monitored through Peplink InControl rather than managed through separate network interfaces. This makes it easier to review link status, performance, and usage across a distributed deployment.
Bonding and Connection Reliability
Peplink SpeedFusion can combine supported connections for greater bandwidth or use them for automatic failover when one link becomes unavailable. Hot Failover helps preserve active sessions, Smoothing reduces the effects of packet loss, and SpeedFusion Boost prevents an unstable satellite link from reducing the performance of the entire bonded connection.
Compact Network Platform
The router includes one 2.5 Gigabit Orbit port, one Gigabit Orbit port, and one Gigabit LAN port with 802.3at PoE input. It also provides simultaneous dual-band Wi-Fi 6, integrated GPS, and Docker support with 8 GB of internal storage. The MAX Orbit 2 supports routing throughput up to 1 Gbps and is recommended for networks with up to 150 users.
Built for Remote and Mobile Installations
A rugged enclosure, wide operating-temperature range, integrated GPS, and vibration-tolerant construction make the MAX Orbit 2 suitable for mobile and remote installations. Common applications include vessels, emergency-response vehicles, temporary field offices, energy sites, telecommunications infrastructure, and satellite backup for fixed business networks.
