Peplink MAX Orbit 8
Description
Eight-Terminal Satellite Connectivity
The MAX Orbit 8 provides eight 2.5 Gigabit Orbit ports for connecting multiple satellite terminals. This capacity supports larger multi-terminal installations that need greater aggregate bandwidth, redundancy across providers, or separate links for different operational requirements.
SpeedFusion Reliability
Peplink SpeedFusion provides Hot Failover, Smoothing, Bandwidth Bonding, and SpeedFusion Boost. These technologies can preserve active sessions when a connection fails, reduce the effects of packet loss, combine available bandwidth, and prevent an unstable satellite link from lowering the performance of the overall bonded connection.
High-Capacity Network Interfaces
The router includes one 10 Gigabit Ethernet port and one 10 Gigabit SFP+ port, both configurable for WAN or LAN use. Two USB-C WAN interfaces provide additional connection options, while simultaneous dual-band Wi-Fi 7 supports local wireless access.
PoE for Connected Terminals
All eight Orbit ports support 802.3at PoE+ output, allowing compatible satellite terminals or network devices to receive data and power through the same Ethernet cable. The router provides a total PoE power budget of 240W when supplied with the required 50V to 54V DC input.
Centralized Management and Edge Computing
InControl provides centralized monitoring for supported Starlink, OneWeb, Iridium, and Peplink connections. The MAX Orbit 8 also supports Docker applications, with 8 GB of internal storage and external storage support through USB.
Built for Larger Remote Deployments
The MAX Orbit 8 is designed for environments outside a conventional server room. Its wide operating-temperature range, integrated GPS, rack-mount hardware, and vibration-tolerant construction support maritime, mobile, industrial, and remote infrastructure deployments.
