Private Voice Calls
The RST755EX allows calls to be handled through a dedicated handset instead of the dock’s hands-free audio system. This is useful in vehicles, offices, control rooms, vessels, and other shared environments where conversations should remain private.
Automatic Answer and Hang-Up
Removing the handset from its cup automatically answers an incoming call. Returning it to the cup ends the call, providing straightforward operation without requiring separate answer or end-call controls on the docked Iridium phone.
Flexible Dock-Side Mounting
The supplied cup and bracket can be mounted on either the left or right side of the compatible docking station. The coiled cord stretches to approximately 1.8 meters, allowing the handset to be positioned within convenient reach of the operator.
Compatible Beam Docks
The RST755EX is designed for the Beam PotsDOCK Extreme and DriveDOCK Extreme docking stations used with the Iridium Extreme 9575 satellite phone. It is not the correct handset for Beam Iridium 9555 docks, which use the RST755I version.
