ICOM Rapid Rate 6-Unit Gang Charger for Icom LTE/IP Radios BC211
Description
Six-Battery Charging
The BC-211 charges up to six compatible lithium-ion battery packs at the same time. It provides one centralized charging station for organizations that rotate batteries between multiple handheld radios and work shifts.
Compatible battery packs include:
- ICOM BP-271
- ICOM BP-272
These batteries are used with supported ICOM radios such as the IP501H and IP100H.
Rapid Charging and Battery Protection
Each bay supplies a charging current of 840 mA. The charger includes a built-in protection circuit and a 5.75-hour rapid-charge timer to help prevent batteries from remaining in an uncontrolled charging state.
Installed Charger Adapters
Six AD-127 charger adapters are installed in the BC-211, providing the correct charging interface for BP-271 and BP-272 battery packs. The batteries are inserted directly into the charger rather than charged while attached to the radios.
Power-Supply Options
The BC-211 operates from a 12–16 VDC input. Depending on the regional version, it may be supplied with a BC-157S AC adapter for the USA, Europe, or Australia. Version 12 is supplied without an AC adapter, so the exact configuration should be confirmed before ordering.
