Focused LED Beam

The RCL-85 uses six high-output OSRAM LEDs with a combined power rating of 30W. Its 8-degree spot beam is suited to illuminating buoys, docks, bridges, shoreline features, work areas, and other objects during nighttime operation.

The LED module has a rated operating life of 50,000 hours, avoiding the regular bulb replacements associated with traditional halogen searchlights.

Wireless Directional Control

All searchlight functions are controlled through the included handheld wireless remote. The operator can switch the light on or off, move the beam in four directions, and activate the strobe function.

The remote operates on 433.92 MHz with a rated range of up to 65 meters. As many as four compatible remotes can be programmed to one searchlight.

Rotation and Tilt

The motorized housing provides 350 degrees of horizontal rotation and 90 degrees of vertical tilt. Rotation speed is 18 degrees per second, while elevation moves at 13 degrees per second.

Weather-Resistant Construction

The ASA housing is resistant to UV exposure and marine weather. The housing is rated IP56, while the LED module is rated IP68. A polycarbonate lens and aluminum heat sink protect the lighting components and help dissipate heat.

Simple Power Installation

The RCL-85 requires only a 12V or 24V DC power connection because all operating commands are wireless. No control cable needs to be routed to the dashboard, which can simplify installation on boats, work vehicles, and utility equipment.
