Removable Suction-Cup Mount

The MBF-1 uses a large suction cup to attach to a clean, smooth, flat surface. It provides a removable alternative to drilling permanent mounting holes and can be repositioned when the equipment layout changes.

LTE/IP Vehicle Installations

For compatible ICOM LTE/IP radios, the MBF-1 forms part of a vehicle mounting system that may include:

• ICOM BC-218 Bluetooth charging cradle
• ICOM MBA-7 bracket adapter
• ICOM CP-22 or CP-23L vehicle power cable
• ICOM HM-215 speaker microphone

The MBA-7 connects the BC-218 cradle to the MBF-1 mounting base. These components are selected separately according to the installation.

Adjustable Equipment Position

The mounting base supports tilt and swivel adjustment, helping place the charger or radio control equipment where it can be viewed and reached comfortably. The suction cup can also be removed when the vehicle or equipment is reassigned.

ICOM lists the MBF-1 mounting combination for the following LTE/IP radios when used with the MBA-7 and BC-218:

• ICOM IP501H
• ICOM IP503H
• ICOM IP503H Lite

The MBF-1 also supports several ICOM mobile radio control heads when paired with the correct model-specific bracket.
