Stable Setup on Uneven Ground

The tripod provides a level, elevated mounting point when the Satcube Ku cannot be positioned effectively on the ground, a vehicle surface, or another available platform. This is useful at temporary work sites, outdoor deployments, emergency-response locations, and other areas with rough or uneven terrain.

The Satcube Ku terminal clips directly onto the tripod, allowing the system to be installed without a separate mounting plate or improvised support.

Adjustable Working Height

The tripod height can be adjusted between 50 and 75 cm. Raising the terminal can provide better access to its display and controls while also helping clear low vegetation, equipment, or other nearby obstacles.

The appropriate height and location will depend on the terrain and the clear line of sight required toward the selected satellite.

Rotating Terminal Support

A rotating top allows the mounted terminal to be turned during the pointing process. This supports azimuth adjustment while the Satcube Ku interface guides the operator through elevation, polarization, and directional alignment.

The tripod does not automate satellite acquisition. It provides a stable platform from which the Satcube terminal can be manually aligned using its built-in pointing guidance.

Portable Field Design

The tripod folds for transportation and comes with a dedicated carrying case. It is intended for field teams that regularly move the Satcube Ku between vehicles, temporary offices, remote sites, and emergency deployments.

Typical applications include emergency response, public safety, government operations, broadcast reporting, humanitarian work, and remote business communications.
