SatStation Single Bay Desktop Charger - Iridium 9505a, 9505, 9500
The SatStation Single-Bay Desktop Charger charges one removable battery for the Iridium 9500, 9505, or 9505A satellite phone outside the handset. It allows a spare battery to charge while the phone remains available for use.
The charger conditions and rapidly charges the installed battery, then switches to maintenance mode when charging is complete. LED indicators provide charging-status information, and the compact unit can operate from compatible AC or vehicle DC power.
Description
Independent Battery Charging
The charger holds one compatible Iridium 9500-series battery at a time. Because the battery charges separately from the handset, users can keep a spare ready while continuing to operate the satellite phone with another battery.
Charging and Conditioning
The SatStation unit conditions and rapidly charges the battery in a single process without intentionally discharging it first. Once charging is complete, it automatically enters maintenance mode to keep the battery ready for use.
Charging Status
Integrated LED indicators show the current battery and charging status. This allows personnel to check charging progress without installing the battery in the phone.
Office or Vehicle Operation
The charging base accepts 11–32 VDC input and can be used from an AC power supply or a compatible vehicle DC adapter. This supports battery charging at an office, communications center, vehicle, or temporary field location.
