Description
Vehicle Power Connection
The adapter allows a SkyLink terminal to operate from a compatible 12V cigarette-lighter or accessory socket. This is useful when the terminal needs to move between vehicles or when modifying the vehicle’s electrical system is not practical.
Direct SkyLink Compatibility
One end connects to the dedicated power port on the SkyLink terminal, while the other plugs into the vehicle outlet. Once power is applied and the terminal finishes starting, the SkyLink power indicator shows that the device is ready for use.
Portable Installation Option
Unlike the SkyLink DC Pigtail Harness, this adapter does not require a permanent hardwired connection. It can be disconnected and stored with the terminal between deployments.
The vehicle outlet should provide a stable 12V supply and remain within the electrical limits specified for the SkyLink system.
