AC Power for SkyLink

The adapter provides a straightforward way to operate a SkyLink terminal from an AC electrical supply. It is suited to indoor and protected installations where vehicle power, hardwired DC power, or Power over Ethernet is not required.

The terminal begins its normal startup sequence once the power connector is attached and the adapter is plugged into a suitable outlet. The SkyLink power indicator displays a steady blue light when the system is ready.

Fixed and Temporary Installations

The AC/DC adapter can support permanent installations in offices and equipment rooms as well as temporary deployments in field offices or emergency operations centers. Its removable connection also makes it easier to relocate or store the SkyLink terminal between deployments.

Power-Only Configuration

This version supplies power without adding a wired Ethernet connection. Devices can connect through the SkyLink terminal’s available Wi-Fi interface or through a separately configured Ethernet accessory.

For installations requiring AC power and a direct wired network connection, the SkyLink AC/DC Power Adapter with Ethernet is a separate product.

SkyLink Compatibility

The adapter is designed for the Blue Sky Network SkyLink terminal and connects to its dedicated power port. SkyLink installations may alternatively use a vehicle adapter, hardwired DC harness, PoE injector, or battery pack, depending on the deployment.
