ICOM IC-SAT100 SP26 Earphone with 2.5mm plug
Description
Private Incoming Audio
The SP-26 routes received radio audio directly to the operator’s ear. This makes conversations easier to monitor in shared or moderately noisy environments and prevents incoming messages from being broadcast through the IC-SAT100 speaker.
Acoustic Tube Design
A flexible clear tube carries audio from the transducer to the earpiece. This surveillance-style arrangement is compact and discreet, making it practical for personnel who wear communications equipment for extended periods.
Connection Through the HM-163MC
The SP-26 uses a 2.5 mm plug and connects to the dedicated earphone jack on the Icom HM-163MC tie-clip microphone. The HM-163MC provides the microphone connection to the IC-SAT100; the SP-26 does not connect directly to the satellite radio.
Splash-Resistant Construction
The earphone carries an IPX4 rating, providing protection against splashing water from any direction. It is suitable for everyday field use but should not be submerged.
