Description
Removable Vehicle Installation
The mount kit allows a compatible Thuraya IP Voyager antenna to be placed on a steel vehicle roof without drilling mounting holes. This makes it suitable for temporary deployments, fleet vehicles, rental vehicles, and installations where the antenna may need to be removed or transferred.
Three-Magnet Mounting System
The kit consists of three individual high-intensity magnets that attach to the antenna mounting points. This three-point layout provides a stable base while keeping the antenna level on a suitable mounting surface.
Surface Protection
Each magnet has a rubber coating to help protect the vehicle surface and improve grip. The mounting area should be flat, clean, and free from dirt or debris before the antenna is installed.
Wind Resistance
Thuraya specifies that the magnetic mounts can withstand wind forces of up to 100 mph when properly installed on a flat metal surface such as a vehicle roof. Installation conditions and vehicle movement should be considered before use.
