Description
Secure Vertical Installation
The tray provides a dedicated mounting base for installing the SAILOR 6080 Power Supply vertically against a wall or equipment panel. Vertical mounting is recommended when more than two power-supply units are stacked because it supports the intended cooling and installation arrangement.
Single or Stacked Power Supplies
A single SAILOR 6080 can be mounted on the tray, or additional units can be stacked when more than 300 watts of power is required. Current SAILOR documentation states that the tray can support up to four SAILOR 6080 units, although additional mounting hardware and system wiring may be required for multi-unit installations.
Cable Support
The integrated cable-relief bracket helps secure the AC, DC, battery, and alarm wiring beneath the power supply. This reduces strain on the spring-terminal connections and keeps larger power cables organized in a permanent marine installation.
Installation Requirements
The tray should be mounted to a surface capable of supporting the combined weight of the tray, power supplies, and connected cables. SAILOR specifies that at least 5 cm of unobstructed space should remain around the sides of stacked power supplies to provide adequate ventilation.
