Wired Searchlight Control
The URP-102 provides fingertip control of a compatible ACR remote searchlight from the helm or another operating position. Directional controls allow the operator to aim the beam horizontally and vertically, while separate controls operate the lamp and change the rotation speed.
Depending on the connected master controller and searchlight, the Point Pad can also activate ACR’s XRCiZ maintenance function. This cycle periodically moves the searchlight to help keep its motors and drive components operational during extended periods of limited use.
Surface or Flush Mounting
The URP-102 can be installed as a surface-mounted controller or recessed into the helm using the included flush-mount case. Separate gaskets and mounting components are supplied for both installation methods.
This flexibility allows the controller to be fitted to different helm panels, consoles, pilothouses, and secondary control stations.
Coaxial Connection
The Point Pad communicates with the searchlight’s master controller through RG-59 coaxial cable fitted with F-type connectors. Neither the cable nor the connectors are included with this individual replacement Point Pad.
Existing cable and connectors may be reused if they are compatible and in good condition. New installations require separately purchased RG-59 cable and suitable connectors.
Controller Compatibility
This individual URP-102 is intended for compatible RCL-50 and RCL-100 Series installations using the appropriate URC-102 or URC-103 control system. It is not compatible with the URC-100 Master Controller.
It should also not be paired with the newer URC-104 controller, which is designed to operate with the next-generation URP-103 Point Pad. The existing master-controller model should be checked before ordering a replacement.
Additional Control Stations
Compatible ACR searchlight systems can support multiple URP-102 Point Pads when the appropriate coaxial splitter and connection cables are installed. This allows searchlight operation from locations such as the main helm, flybridge, tower, or secondary steering station.
This product is the individual Point Pad rather than the complete secondary-station kit, so a splitter, cable, and connectors must be purchased separately when adding another control position.
