The GSATSolar IoT Service Plan with 4 Daily Positions provides a straightforward tracking option for assets that only need a few location updates each day. It is well suited to stationary or slow-moving equipment, livestock, trailers, and other remote assets where periodic position confirmation is more important than frequent movement tracking.
GSATSolar uses GPS to determine the asset's location and transmits position data through a low-Earth-orbit satellite network for viewing through the associated tracking platform. Four daily reports help keep airtime costs lower while maintaining basic visibility in areas where cellular service may not be available.
This plan is best suited to applications where knowing an asset's general location throughout the day is sufficient and more frequent reporting is unnecessary.
