Push-to-Talk Service
Unlimited Iridium PTT usage
This plan provides unlimited Iridium Push-to-Talk service for group communications using compatible satellite PTT equipment. It is designed for organizations that rely on PTT for routine coordination while also requiring access to additional satellite communication features.
Voice & Messaging
The plan includes no bundled telephone voice minutes or SMS messages. On compatible equipment, these services are available on a pay-per-use basis.
Additional Charges
- Voice: $1.49 per minute
- SMS: $0.99 per message
Data & GPS Services
The plan also provides access to pay-per-use data and GPS-related services where supported by the activated Iridium device. Availability and usage depend on the capabilities and configuration of the equipment.
Compatible Equipment
Additional voice, SMS, data, and GPS functions require compatible equipment. Dual-mode devices such as the Iridium Extreme PTT can support PTT together with satellite telephone, messaging, and location-related functions, while PTT-only radios may not support all of these services.
Contract Terms
Service is billed monthly with a 12-month minimum term.
