Message Allowance
1 Satellite Message Per Day
This plan provides one satellite transmission per day for low-frequency monitoring of fixed or mobile assets. It is a practical option when a daily location or status report is sufficient and frequent movement tracking is not required.
How Messages Are Used
A SmartOne message is a small machine-to-machine satellite transmission rather than a conventional text message. Depending on device configuration, transmissions can contain GPS location or asset-status information and can be generated by scheduled reporting or configured device events.
Asset Monitoring
SmartOne devices can be configured for location reporting, motion and change-of-location monitoring, sensor or input status, and device alerts such as low-battery notifications. The reporting configuration should be matched to the message allowance of the selected service plan.
Network & Coverage
Service operates over the Globalstar Commercial IoT satellite network. Coverage varies by location, terrain, signal conditions, and local service authorization, so the current Globalstar Commercial IoT coverage map should be checked for the intended operating area.
