Message Allowance
Unlimited Satellite Messages
This plan removes the fixed daily message allowance found on the 1, 2, 3, and 6-message tiers, making it better suited to SmartOne configurations that require frequent scheduled reporting or generate additional event-driven transmissions.
How Messages Are Used
Messages are compact machine-to-machine satellite transmissions rather than SMS or person-to-person texts. Depending on device configuration, transmissions can contain GPS position, movement or change-of-location information, sensor or input status, and device alerts.
Higher-Frequency Monitoring
The Unlimited tier provides greater flexibility for mobile assets and monitoring applications where reporting requirements may vary throughout the day. Reporting frequency is determined by the SmartOne configuration and should not be interpreted as continuous or real-time tracking.
Network & Coverage
Service uses the Globalstar Commercial IoT satellite network. Coverage varies by geographic area and can be affected by terrain, satellite visibility, installation conditions, and local service authorization.
