The SPOT X Flex Advanced Plan provides seasonal two-way satellite service with 100 Custom Messages per active month, GPS tracking as frequently as every 5 minutes, and Movement Alerts. Service can be suspended when not needed, making this tier suitable for seasonal users who require more messaging and tracking capability while active.

Messaging Allowance
100 Custom Messages Per Active Month
The Flex Advanced plan provides a larger monthly messaging allowance for seasonal SPOT X users who communicate more frequently while their service is active. Additional Custom Messages are billed at $0.25 each.

For U.S.-registered SPOT X devices, both incoming and outgoing Custom Messages count toward the monthly allowance.
Advanced Tracking
5, 10, 30, or 60-Minute Tracking Intervals
The Advanced tier adds the 5-minute tracking option and supports continuous tracking beyond the 24-hour limitation of Basic service.
Movement Alerts
Movement Alerts can be configured for 30-minute, 60-minute, 4-hour, or 12-hour intervals.
Flex Service
1-Month Minimum Active Term
The Flex structure allows service to be suspended when it is not required and resumed later. An annual Flex charge applies while enrolled in the Flex program, including periods when service is suspended.
Emergency Communication
Unlimited SOS is included during active service, with two-way emergency messaging supported through the SPOT X.
Coverage
Service uses the Globalstar satellite network and is available across extensive regions worldwide, although coverage is not fully global. Current two-way messaging coverage should be checked for the intended operating area.
