SPOT X supports two-way satellite communication with mobile numbers and email addresses, allowing contacts to send messages back to the device where two-way Globalstar service is available.
High-Frequency Tracking
2.5, 5, 10, 30, or 60-Minute Tracking Intervals
The Unlimited tier provides the fastest SPOT X tracking option, with GPS location reports as frequently as every 2.5 minutes for users who require a more detailed movement history.
Movement Alerts
Movement Alerts can be configured for 30-minute, 60-minute, 4-hour, or 12-hour intervals.
Emergency Communication
Unlimited SOS service is included, with two-way messaging available during an emergency to provide additional information and receive confirmation from the response coordination service.
Coverage
SPOT X uses the Globalstar satellite network. Coverage is broad but not worldwide, and two-way messaging availability varies by geographic region. The current SPOT coverage map should be checked before travel or deployment.
