Service Speed

The service uses a dynamically contended iDirect satellite connection. Speeds are not a guaranteed 1:1 committed information rate unless CIR service is ordered separately.
Additional Data
Usage beyond the included 1 GB allowance is billed separately. The current additional-data rate for this legacy tier should be confirmed before publication.
Network Service
Toughsat uses professional iDirect VSAT satellite broadband for internet connectivity at remote worksites, command locations, field deployments, and other locations where terrestrial service is unavailable or impractical.
Coverage
Service availability depends on the satellite, beam coverage, terminal configuration, and operating location. Ground Control's published standard iDirect plans are primarily quoted for North American service, with international VSAT connectivity available separately.
