ICOM IC-SAT100 PTT Iridium Satellite Radio

Introducing the worlds first handheld global satellite radio. This is not a satellite phone, this is a satellite radio that works like a common VHF handheld radio but instead of connecting to land based towers or repeaters it connects to the new Iridium NEXT 66 satellites that orbit the earth in low orbit and cover 100% of the world. That's right, pole to pole coverage in areas that other geostationary satellites like MSAT or others wont work. For those already using VHF, UHF or HF radios you can also connect them to the ICOM IC-SAT100 via an options for interoperable communications.
