Extended Runtime and Backup Power
The Extended Battery Pack keeps a compatible SkyLink system operating during portable deployments or interruptions to its primary power source. With up to 48 hours of runtime under supported conditions, it is suited to remote operations, mobile command setups, field teams, and installations that need additional communications uptime.
Compatible SkyLink Integration
The battery connects to the SkyLink Data Gateway through a dedicated interconnect cable. It can be mounted directly with the gateway or positioned separately using an optional longer cable, depending on the installation layout.
Flexible Charging Options
The Battery Pack accepts a dedicated power-input cable for charging and continuous operation. AC and vehicle DC cable options support fixed facilities, vessels, vehicles, and temporary field deployments. For fixed installations, the power-input connection may remain attached as the regular power source.
Expandable Battery Capacity
Multiple SkyLink Battery Packs can be connected using the compatible stacking cable when additional capacity is required. This allows the power system to be adjusted for longer deployments and operating requirements beyond the runtime of one Extended Battery Pack.
SOS and System Reporting
The Battery Pack supports a local SOS push button and an optional remotely wired SOS switch. Configurable reporting and SkyRouter integration allow supported alerts and battery-related information to become part of the wider SkyLink monitoring setup.
