K118 Why can’t I receive SMS messages on my 9555 handset?

Solution

Check to ensure that the folder capacity (outgoing, incoming and draft) has not exceeded 30 messages. Also, that your  phone is  registered. To test registration on the phone, Iridium has created a test number; 001-480-752-5105. There are no charges for performing this test. Additional information on SMS messaging service can be found in the user manual, section 7,  titled "Using the messages menu" or by contacting your Service Partner.
