K29 How to do a Factory Reset - Explorer 100

Solution
This is a short guide on how to Restore your terminal to its Factory default

1. GENERAL
Reset to Factory defaults is available via BGAN LaunchPad or Nera WorldSet,
1. Light Factory reset, for ports settings and terminal configuration
2. Heavy which erase every thing including GPS position. phonebook, sms etc.

1.1 Light Reset : " 123456 "
By enterning Security Code "123456" ... port configuration, QoS settings and terminal
settings will be set to default values again. The configuration values will be set as for
a new terminal.

1.2 Heavy Reset : " 9998"
By entering "9998" absolutely ALL data will be erased, GPS position, SMS,
Phone Book, all Logs etc etc.... . This reset sets configuration values as for a new
terminal, and erases all personal information and data logs.

2. HOW TO RESET USING NERA WORLDSET
1. From WorldSet Menu "6. Terminal Settings"
2. Scroll down to “7 Master Reset"
3. Press “Select”
4. The handset will ask for a Passkey for master reset. This is the same code as
the Security Code in BGAN LaunchPad.
5. Enter the Passkey, press “Enter” and wait a moment.
6. Terminal will be switched off automatically.
7. Restart terminal.

3. HOW TO RESET USING BGAN LAUNCHPAD
1. Select “terminal” and “Reset to Factory Default”
2. Enter the selected Security Code
3. Press OK , and wait a moment.
4. Terminal will be switched off automatically.
5. Restart terminal
