Building off of Inmarsat's I-4 Fleet Broadband global voice and data network the newly relaunched Fleet One technology equipment is equlivent to the Fleet Broadband (FBB) 150 terminals but at a much lower price for equipment. The airtime prices for Fleet One are also aimed at the smaller vessels needing bandwidth generally under 200 MBs per month and more affordable than ever before.
With Fleet One from Inmarsat any vessel can stay connected while cruising the world without having to be concerned with cellular coverage or WiFi availability.
Internet speeds around 100 Kbps is enough bandwidth for all of todays common applications like email, web browsing, mobile applications and weather services.
