Manual Emergency Signaling

The C-Strobe is activated by twisting the housing to the on position. Its flashing white LED helps rescuers, nearby vessels, or other members of a group locate the wearer after dark or in reduced visibility.

This model provides a single strobe mode and requires manual activation. It should not be confused with the C-Strobe H₂O, which can activate automatically after contact with water and offers additional lighting modes.

Long Operating Life

Two AA batteries provide more than 120 hours of continuous operation at 30°C (86°F) and more than 100 hours at -1°C (30°F). The batteries are user-replaceable, making the light practical for life jackets, emergency kits, work crews, and outdoor groups that need a reusable visual signal.

Reverse-battery protection helps prevent damage if the batteries are installed incorrectly. Batteries are sold separately.

Compact Life Jacket Light

The slim housing measures approximately 12.9 cm long and weighs 33 g without batteries. Integrated flexible lashing loops allow the light to be attached to suitable life jacket webbing, backpack straps, or other equipment using a compatible strap or lanyard.

Because this is the bulk version, a PFD clip, lanyard, and hook-and-loop strap are not included. These accessories are supplied with the separately available carded version.

Waterproof and Impact Resistant

The C-Strobe has an impact-resistant housing and is waterproof after testing for 24 hours at a depth of 1 m (3.3 ft.). Its lightweight construction makes it suitable for marine safety equipment as well as hiking, camping, paddling, fishing, and remote work applications.

Approved Visual Signal

The light is certified to USCG and SOLAS requirements and also carries CE and Transport Canada approvals. It is a visual location aid only and does not transmit an emergency alert, identification, or GPS position to rescue authorities.
