Flexible Handset Placement

The extension cable provides an additional 5 meters of distance between the Intellian FleetBroadband terminal and its primary IP handset. It is useful when the terminal is installed inside an equipment cabinet or another location that is not convenient for routine handset access.

The extra cable length allows the handset to be positioned at a navigation station, communications desk, equipment console, or another suitable operating location.

Dedicated FleetBroadband Connection

This is a purpose-built handset cable with circular 10-pin connections. It is designed for the IP handset supplied with compatible Intellian Inmarsat FleetBroadband systems rather than for standard Ethernet or analog telephone equipment.

System Compatibility

The cable is associated with Intellian FB150, FB250, and FB500 FleetBroadband equipment. Compatibility should be confirmed when replacing an existing cable or using the extension with a different Intellian handset or terminal generation.
