Its compact 65 cm stabilized antenna is optimized for commercial and leisure vessels operating on supported Ka-band satellite networks, including Telenor's THOR 7 service.

Compact Design with Simplified Installation

Designed to reduce installation time and onboard cabling, the v60Ka 2 combines RF signals, DC power, monitoring, and control over a single coaxial cable between the antenna and control unit. This streamlined architecture minimizes installation complexity while reducing weight and cable management requirements.

Pre-slung lifting straps and the AptusNX installation wizard further simplify commissioning for both new vessel installations and retrofit projects.

Flexible Platform for Future Growth

The v60Ka 2 includes an embedded Dual Antenna Mediator, allowing dual antenna configurations without requiring separate mediator hardware or RF splitters. Operators can also upgrade from the standard 5W BUC to higher-power BUC or transceiver configurations as operational bandwidth requirements increase.
