Description
Advanced Navigation Technology
The LT-1000 Navigational Reference Unit (NRU) from Lars Thrane A/S is a maritime heading sensor with a built-in GNSS/GPS receiver. Designed for both leisure and professional maritime markets, this unit meets all standards and certification requirements for worldwide maritime navigation equipment.
High-Precision Performance
Equipped with 12 precision sensors, including magnetometers, gyros, accelerometers, a barometer, and a thermometer, the LT-1000 NRU uses sensor-fusion and Kalman filtering to provide real-time data. It delivers true heading, roll, pitch, position, ground speed, course over ground, air pressure, and temperature with high precision and resolution. Advanced features include Kalman filtering, magnetic variation calculation based on the World Magnetic Model (WMM), and compensation for soft and hard iron deviations.
Cutting-Edge Technology
The LT-1000 NRU can track multiple satellite systems, including GPS, GPS & GLONASS, or GPS & BeiDou, and supports Satellite-Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) such as EGNOS, WAAS, and MSAS. This ensures market-leading acquisition and tracking performance, even in the most demanding maritime environments.
Easy Installation & Configuration
Mounting the LT-1000 NRU is straightforward, using a 1” pole or an optional roof mount. A single cable supports NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, and power, simplifying installation. The built-in magnetometer calibration algorithm quickly compensates for heading deviations, providing reliable navigation data. Additionally, an external PC installation and service software is available for optional configuration and maintenance.
