Protection for Sensitive Equipment

The Pelican 1300 is designed to protect compact electronics and accessories during transport, storage, and field use. Its solid-wall construction helps resist crushing and impacts, while the sealed case keeps dust and water away from the equipment inside.

The 9.17 x 6.99 x 6.15-inch interior is suitable for smaller satellite devices, batteries, chargers, cables, cameras, diagnostic tools, and similar equipment.

Watertight and Dustproof Construction

An O-ring around the lid creates a sealed closure when the case is properly latched. The Pelican 1300 carries an IP67 rating, indicating protection against dust entry and temporary immersion in water under the conditions defined by the rating.

The case should be inspected before use to confirm that the O-ring, sealing surfaces, latches, and pressure valve are clean and undamaged.

Pressure Equalization Valve

The automatic pressure equalization valve helps balance pressure inside and outside the case while maintaining the watertight seal. This makes the case easier to open after changes in altitude, temperature, or air pressure.

Customizable Interior

The foam-equipped configuration includes layered Pick N Pluck foam that can be shaped by removing pre-scored sections around the stored equipment. This provides a closer fit and helps limit movement during transport.

A no-foam configuration is also available for customers who already have a custom insert or need the full interior space. Replacement foam and optional TrekPak divider accessories are available separately.

Secure and Portable Design

Two double-throw latches hold the lid securely closed while remaining straightforward to open. A rubberized folding handle supports comfortable carrying, and two padlock holes allow the case to be secured with compatible locks.

At approximately 3.3 lb. with foam, the Pelican 1300 provides substantial protection without the size and weight of a larger transport case.
