ACR Wireless Dash Mount Remote for RCL-85 and RCL-95 Searchlights

Fixed Wireless Searchlight Control

The ACR 9635 provides the convenience of a permanently positioned dash controller without requiring a wired connection to the searchlight. It communicates with the RCL-85 or RCL-95 over a 433.92 MHz wireless link, allowing the controller to be mounted where it is easy to reach from the operating position.

This makes it practical for new installations where running an additional cable would be difficult, as well as for adding another control point to an existing searchlight system.

Directional and Speed Controls

The remote provides directional control for rotating and tilting the connected searchlight. It also allows the operator to change the rotation and tilt movement between fast and slow speeds, providing quicker repositioning or more precise beam adjustment as needed.

Available functions depend on the connected searchlight. The RCL-85 supports 350-degree rotation and 90-degree tilt, while the RCL-95 provides continuous 360-degree rotation and up to 135 degrees of tilt.

Supports Multiple Remote Stations

One compatible searchlight can be paired with up to four wireless remotes. These may be a combination of dash-mounted and handheld controllers, allowing the searchlight to be operated from several locations aboard the vessel. Pairing a fifth remote replaces the first remote stored by the searchlight.

The remote is paired by cycling power to the searchlight and pressing the up and down controls together during the synchronization period. The searchlight flashes to confirm a successful connection.

Compact Dash Installation

The controller has a compact, low-profile housing that mounts directly to the dash or console. Because communication is wireless, installation does not require an RG-59 coaxial cable or a multi-conductor control cable between the remote and searchlight.

The selected mounting location should remain within the specified wireless range and provide the operator with convenient access and a clear view of the searchlight’s beam direction.
