Kymeta KyWay Go U7
Description
Portable Broadband Wherever It's Needed
The KyWay Go combines Kymeta's u7 electronically steered satellite terminal with a rugged transportable case system, allowing users to quickly establish broadband connectivity in locations where terrestrial communications are unavailable or compromised. Designed for temporary and rapidly changing operations, the system can be transported by commercial aircraft or standard vehicles and deployed in under five minutes.
It supports broadband applications including secure VPN access, VoIP communications, cloud services, operational data transfer, video conferencing, and remote collaboration.
Electronically Steered Flat-Panel Antenna
Unlike conventional VSAT antennas that rely on motors and mechanical tracking systems, the KyWay Go uses Kymeta's metamaterial electronically steered antenna technology. The antenna continuously tracks satellites electronically, eliminating moving parts that typically require maintenance or calibration.
This solid-state design provides reliable connectivity while reducing mechanical wear and improving long-term reliability in demanding environments.
Designed for Rapid Deployment
Everything required for operation is packaged in two weather-resistant transport cases. One-button startup, automatic satellite acquisition, and integrated transmit and receive capability simplify setup, allowing operators with minimal satellite experience to establish communications quickly.
Mounting points also allow the terminal to be secured to vehicles, trailers, or temporary structures when required.
Typical applications include:
- Emergency response
- Disaster recovery
- Government operations
- Military deployments
- Humanitarian missions
- Broadcast and media
- Remote construction sites
- Temporary field offices
Built for Demanding Field Conditions
The outdoor antenna is designed for operation in challenging environments, with an IP66-rated enclosure that protects against dust and water ingress. Its rugged construction withstands vibration, shock, and harsh weather while maintaining reliable satellite communications during extended deployments.
